Regular Council

THAT the Council minutes from the March 9, 2026 regular meeting be approved. -

THAT the following items be received and filed:  Correspondence Items 04-01 to 04-51  Committee of Adjustment meeting on March 13, 2026  Parks & Recreation Meeting Minutes from March 18, 2026  Special Council Meeting Minutes from March 23, 2026  Special Council Meeting Minutes from March 30, 2026  Council Remuneration for 2025  Parks & Recreation Dashboard  Public Works Dashboard -

THAT the correspondence be received and filed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves the recommendation of Spriet Associates to award Sev-Con Paving, the contract for the Guy Street, Kelly Street, and William Street Rehabilitation for $185,698.65 (Excluding HST). -

THAT the Council of the Township of Warwick accepts the Proposal submitted by klb Consulting/Sequence in the amount of $70,650, plus HST, for the development of a Township of Warwick Economic Development Strategy; AND THAT the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to sign the necessary agreements. -

THAT Council approves the Watford Downtown Business District Sidewalk Cleaning agreement with Lambton County Development Services “LCDS” at a cost of $1,596.00 plus applicable HST and be approved by by-law and executed by the Mayor and CAO/Treasurer. -

THAT after 30 days' notice to the St Clair Region Conservation Authority, a new report can be prepared by Spriet Associates, before the work can proceed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council move into an In Camera meeting of Council pursuant to Section 239 of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended, for the following reasons: -

THAT Warwick Township Council reconvene in Open Session. -

THAT the in Camera minutes from regular council meeting on March 9, 2026, as well as special council meetings on March 23, 2026 and March 30, 2026 be approved. -

THAT By-laws 18 to 19 and 21 to 23 of 2026 be read a first, second and third time and finally passed. THAT By-law 20 of 2026 face a motion of defeat by vote 3-2. -
