Regular Council

THAT the Council minutes from the July 11, 2022 regular meeting be approved. -

THAT Warwick Township Council proceed into the Court of Revision for the Moffatt Drain Extension 2022, By-law No. 52 of 2022. -

THAT the Court of Revision for the Moffatt Drain Extension 2022, By-law No. 52 of 2022, be closed without changes to the report and that we go back into open council. -

THAT the GL report presented on August 8, 2022 be received and filed. -

THAT non-action correspondence items 08-01 to 08-35 be received and filed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves the donation request from the Brooke-Alvinston Agricultural Society; AND THAT staff be directed to increase the annual donation amount to $1,250. -

THAT action correspondence item 08-37 be received and filed. -

THAT Report CAO-09-22 - CAO's Q2 2022 Quarterly Status Report be received and filed as information. -

THAT report CL-18-22 – 2022 Municipal Election Update be received and filed as information. -

THAT report CL-17-22 - Review of Committee Structure and Procedural By-law and Recommendations in advance of 2022-2026 Council Term be approved. -

THAT report FIRE-05-22 Bi-Annual Report from Township of Warwick Fire & Rescue be reviewed and filed for information. -

THAT Warwick Township Council receives and files report HR-04-22 – 2022 Cost of Living Wage Adjustment as information. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approve report P&D-19-22 – Quarterly Update – Economic Development & Promotions. -

THAT Warwick Township Council receive report P&D-20-22 - Site Plan By-law Amendments for information; AND THAT the Planning Team be directed to prepare appropriate amendments to the Township of Warwick Site Plan By-law (By-law 22 of 2005); AND THAT exemptions for site plans for municipal projects also be applied to current projects. -

THAT Warwick Township Council directs Planning staff to prepare for public consultation and by-law amendments for surplus farm dwelling severances; AND THAT Planning staff prepare for public consultation and by-law amendments for permitted uses in the commercial-industrial zone. -

THAT Warwick Township Council direct staff with regards to the Zion Line Asphalt Repairs and Replacement. -

THAT Warwick Township Council moves into an In Camera meeting of Council pursuant to Section 239 of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended, for the following reasons: ii) A matter regarding personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees - Section 239(2)(b); iii) A matter regarding proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board - Section 239(2)(c); iv) A matter regarding labour relations or employee negotiations - Section 239(2)(d); -

THAT Warwick Township Council reconvenes in open session. -

THAT the minutes from the in camera regular Council meeting of July 11, 2022 be approved. -

THAT By-laws 51 and 65 to 67 of 2022 be read a first and second time. -

THAT By-laws 51 to 52 and 65 to 67 of 2022 be read a third time and finally passed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council hereby adjourns. -
