Regular Council

THAT the Council minutes from the May 30, 2022 regular meeting be approved. -

THAT the GL report presented on June 20, 2022 be received and filed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council support and endorse the correspondence from the Municipality of Chatham-Kent Regarding Retirement Home Funding. -

THAT correspondence items 06-01 to 06-08 and 06-10 to 06-34 be received and filed as information. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves a donation in the amount of $100 for the Guardian Angels Golf Tournament. -

THAT effective November 15th Warwick Township Council continues with the existing base pay amounts for the Mayor and Councillors but increase the Per Meeting rate by 20%; AND THAT effective November 15th Mileage only be an eligible expense for meetings outside of the Township or Warwick; AND THAT effective November 15th all Council Committees get adjusted to the Per Meeting rate for Councillors; AND THAT effective November 15th the Committee of Adjustments per meeting rate become a flat rate at the Per Meeting rate for Councillors. -

THAT Warwick Township Council direct staff to fund the anticipated cost increases associated with the Zion Line Reconstruction from General Reserves. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves the revisions to Policy 05.8 Municipal Drainage Assessment Payment effective January 1, 2022. -

THAT report P&D-13-22 - Site Plan Delegation - Mandatory in Bill 109 be received and filed; AND THAT By-law 47 of 2022 be approved. -

That Warwick Township Council approves a re-allocation of Win This Space funds to support a new culinary experience/partnership with the Royal Canadian Legion. -

That Warwick Township Council approves a re-allocation of $20,000 from 2022 Win This Space funds for Watford’s 150th Anniversary Planning Committee Budget. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves the proposed By-law 46 of 2022, being a By-law to authorize the execution of a Site Plan Agreement between the Township of Warwick and 2407199 Ontario Inc. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves report P&R-14-22 East Lambton Community Complex - Progress Report as presented. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves report P&R-15-22 Parks Capital Project Progress Report as presented. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves the quote as supplied by Tuygun Painting Contracting Ltd in the amount of $35,300 plus applicable HST for the exterior painting of the brick and metal siding of the Watford Arena. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves the RFP as supplied by Accuratus Design Build Inc. in the total amount of $728,500 plus applicable HST for the Watford Arena – Workshop Addition, Garbage Enclosure and North Parking Lot Storm Sewer with Oil /Grit Separator. -

THAT the minutes of the Parks and Recreation Committee meeting of April 27, 2022 be approved. -

THAT the minutes of the Parks and Recreation Committee meeting of June 8, 2022 be approved. -

THAT Warwick Township Council directs the Mayor and the CAO/Clerk to sign and execute all written resolutions in regards to the Bluewater Power Annual General Meeting. -

THAT Warwick Township Council moves into an In Camera meeting of Council pursuant to Section 239 of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended, for the following reasons: ii) A matter regarding personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees - Section 239(2)(b); iii) A matter regarding proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board - Section 239(2)(c); -

THAT Warwick Township Council reconvenes in open session. -

THAT the minutes from the in camera regular Council meeting of May 30, 2022 be approved. -

THAT By-laws 46 to 50 of 2022 be read a first and second time. -

THAT By-laws 46 to 50 of 2022 be read a third time and finally passed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council hereby adjourns. -
