Regular Council

THAT the Council minutes from the April 4, 2022 regular meeting be approved. -

THAT Warwick Township Council supports and endorses the portion of the correspondence from the Municipality of Mississippi Mills regarding the development of a grant program to provide seed money to properly fund the initial costs of taking over a cemetery and annually help cover the ongoing costs of maintenance and care that the legislation and regulations require; AND THAT staff be directed to prepare and send a letter to ROMA in support of the grant program development. -

THAT Warwick Township Council directs staff to prepare and send a letter to the Ministry of Health regarding the lack of urgent care clinics available to the public. -

THAT the GL report presented on April 25, 2022 be received and filed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council support and endorse the correspondence from the Town of Mulmur Regarding More Homes for Everyone Act. -

THAT correspondence items 04-35 to 04-44 and 04-46 to 04-65 be received and filed as information. -

THAT Warwick Township Council support and endorse the correspondence from Sara Lopetrone Regarding the Health Care System and Bill 124. -

THAT report P&D-10-22 - Ontario Housing Affordability Task Force Report & Bill 109 – More Homes for Everyone Act Review be received and filed as information. -

THAT Council approves report P&D-11-22 and By-law 27 of 2022 to authorize the execution of a Site Plan Agreement between the Township of Warwick and 79 Auto Shine Inc. as amended. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves report P&R-10-22 the East Lambton Community Complex (ELCC) Construction Progress Report as presented; AND THAT staff be authorized to purchase and acquire equipment to support ELCC operations as per the report. -

THAT the minutes of the Public Works Committee meeting of April 6, 2022 be approved. -

THAT Warwick Township Council moves into an In Camera meeting of Council pursuant to Section 239 of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended, for the following reasons: ii) A matter regarding personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees - Section 239(2)(b); iii) A matter regarding proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board - Section 239(2)(c); -

THAT Warwick Township Council reconvenes in open session. -

THAT the minutes from the in camera regular Council meeting of April 4, 2022 be approved. -

THAT By-laws 27 and 28 of 2022 be read a first and second time. -

THAT By-laws 27 and 28 of 2022 be read a third time and finally passed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council hereby adjourns. -
