Regular Council

THAT the Council minutes from the January 17, 2022 regular meeting be approved. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approve a Zoning By-law Amendment to rezone the subject land from Mixed Commercial Industrial (CM) to Mixed Commercial Industrial CM(9) in order to add a “Motor Vehicle Washing Establishment” to the list of permitted uses and to establish parking requirements specific to the proposed development. -

THAT the GL report presented on February 14, 2022 be received and filed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council support and endorse the correspondence from the Town of Bracebridge Regarding Increased and Sustainable Funding for Sexual Assault Services. -

THAT correspondence items 03-01 to 03-06 and 03-08 to 03-41 be received and filed as information. -

THAT Warwick Township Council support and endorse the correspondence from the Ministry of Finance Regarding Payment in Lieu of Taxes for Federal Properties. -

THAT report CL-06-22 - Update on Township Records Management and Digital Modernization be received and filed as information; AND THAT staff be directed to pursue next steps as per the report involving implementation of an Electronic Document Management System (EDRMS) for the Township of Warwick. -

THAT report CL-07-22 – 2022 Municipal Election - Joint Election Compliance Audit Committee and Delegated Authority During Lame Duck be received and filed as information. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves report P&R-04-22 – East Lambton Community Complex - Capital Fundraising Campaign Report as presented. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves report P&R-05-22 the East Lambton Community Complex Construction Progress Report as presented. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves the quote as supplied by Chris Regier Trucking at $16.82 Per Tonne to supply and deliver a minimum of 24,000 tonnes of maintenance gravel to The Township of Warwick unpaved roads. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves the quote as supplied by Pollard Highway Products at $0.089 Per Litre to supply and application of 735,000 litres of 18% liquid Calcium to The Township of Warwick unpaved roads. -

THAT the Ontario Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA) letter dated December 23, 2021, and correspondence from the Association of Municipalities Ontario (AMO) dated January 5, 2022, regarding CN Rail and drainage be received for information; AND THAT Council support and endorse the template letter attached to the agenda as prepared by Association of Municipalities Ontario (AMO); AND THAT staff be directed to prepare the template letter and send to each recipient copied in the letter and forwarded to AMO on behalf of the Township of Warwick. -

THAT report PW-04-22 – Public Works Update report be received and filed as information. -

THAT the minutes of the Special Council meeting of January 19, 2022 be approved. -

THAT the minutes of the Special Council meeting of January 26, 2022 be approved. -

THAT the minutes of the Development Committee meeting of February 7, 2022 be approved. -

THAT the minutes of the Special Council meeting of February 8, 2022 be approved. -

THAT Warwick Township Council moves into an In Camera meeting of Council pursuant to Section 239 of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended, for the following reasons: ii) A matter regarding personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees - Section 239(2)(b); iii) A matter regarding proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board - Section 239(2)(c); iv) A matter regarding labour relations or employee negotiations - Section 239(2)(d); -

THAT Warwick Township Council reconvenes in open session. -

THAT the minutes from the in camera regular Council meeting of January 17, 2022, the Special Council meeting of January 26, 2022, the Development Committee meeting of February 7, 2022 and the Special Council meeting of February 8, 2022 be approved. -

THAT By-laws 10 and 12 to 13 of 2022 be read a first and second time. -

THAT By-laws 10 and 12 to 13 of 2022 be read a third time and finally passed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council hereby adjourns. -
