Regular Council

THAT the Council minutes from the June 14, 2021 regular meeting be approved. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves the scheduling of a Special Council Meeting on July 20, 2021 at 6:00 p.m., via electronic format, for the presentation of the 2020 Annual Technical Review Team's Report on the Twin Creeks Landfill and directs staff to complete the required public notice of the meeting. -

THAT Warwick Township Council provides Mr. Paul Janes permission to use the copyrighted content in the publication 'The Township of Warwick: A Story Through Time' for the purposes of producing a historical film. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves a grant to support the production of a film based on 'The Township of Warwick: A Story Through Time' in the amount of $3,300. -

THAT the GL report presented on July 5, 2021 be received and filed. -

THAT Warwick Township support and endorses correspondence item 07-10 - Municipality of Calvin - Resolution of Support for Fire Departments. -

THAT non-action correspondence items 07-01 to 07-09 and 07-11 to 07-90 be received and filed as information. -

THAT the correspondence from Stephanie Cattrysse dated June 23rd 2021 regarding the intersection of Forest Road and London Line be received; AND THAT Council supports Ms. Cattrysse's initiatives to appeal to the County of Lambton for safety measures to be implemented at the intersection; AND THAT staff follow up with the MTO requesting monitoring the intersection. -

THAT the balance of action correspondence items numbers 07-91, 07-93 and 07-94 be received and filed. -

THAT report CAO-21-21 - Current Municipal Service Levels and COVID-19 Impacts be received and filed as information. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves report P&D-14-21 – Confederation Line – Temporary Use By-law to permit an accessory structure on a vacant property on Confederation Line, located between 7773 and 7793 Confederation Line, which does not have a principal structure. -

THAT report FIRE-02-21 Bi-Annual Report from Township of Warwick Fire & Rescue be received and filed for information. -

THAT Warwick Township Council awards Culvert 44 & 51 Tender to Theo Vandenberk Construction Inc. as recommended by Spriet Associates for $48,630.00 plus HST. -

THAT the minutes of the Development Committee meeting of June 28, 2021 be approved. -

THAT Warwick Township Council directs the Mayor and the CAO/Clerk to sign and execute all written resolutions in regards to the Bluewater Power Annual General Meeting. -

THAT Warwick Township Council moves into an In Camera meeting of Council pursuant to Section 239 of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended, for the following reasons: ii) A matter regarding personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees - Section 239(2)(b); iii) A matter regarding proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board - Section 239(2)(c); viii) Information explicitly supplied in confidence to the municipality or local board by Canada, a province or territory or a Crown agency of any of them - Section 239(2)(h); -

THAT Warwick Township Council reconvenes in open session. -

THAT the minutes from the in camera regular Council meeting of June 14, 2021 and the Development Committee meeting of June 28, 2021 be approved. -

THAT By-laws 64, 68 and 82 to 85 of 2021 be read a first and second time. -

THAT By-laws 64, 68 and 82 to 85 of 2021 be read a third time and finally passed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council hereby adjourns. -
