Regular Council

THAT the Council minutes from the May 31, 2021 regular meeting be approved. -

THAT correspondence 06-01 to 06-40 be received and filed. -

THAT the Council of the Township of Warwick supports the current membership of the St. Clair Region Conservation Authority allocating one (1) member each to Adelaide Metcalfe, Brooke-Alvinston, Dawn-Euphemia, Lambton Shores, Middlesex Centre, Petrolia, Plympton-Wyoming, Point Edward, Warwick; two (2) members to Chatham-Kent, St. Clair, Strathroy-Caradoc; three (3) members to Sarnia; one member to Enniskillen which will also represent Oil Springs and one (1) member rotating between Southwest Middlesex (for a 3 year term) and Newbury (for a 1 year term) providing a total Board Membership of 20; AND THAT a general farm organization such as the Member Service Representative of the Ontario Federation of Agriculture be included on the membership. -

THAT report CAO-19-21 - Current Municipal Service Levels and COVID-19 Impacts be received and filed as information. -

THAT Warwick Township Council a pproves the single source price of $13,000 plus HST for consulting services from CBRE to complete a long-term facility needs assessment. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves the proposal from John Van Gorp for $300.00 plus HST per acre for the lease of farm land legally described as Part of Lot 20, Concession 5 S.E.R.; AND THAT a contract be signed by John Van Gorp and executed by by-law at a future Council meeting. -

THAT report P&D-13-21 - Proposed Watford Settlement Boundary Adjustment be received and filed for information. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves the East Lambton Community Complex - Construction Progress Report as presented. -

THAT Warwick Township Council awards Culvert 52 Tender to JLH Excavating as recommended by Spriet Associates for $93,485.00 Plus HST. -

THAT the minutes of the Development Committee meeting of June 7, 2021 be approved. -

THAT the minutes of the Parks & Recreation Committee meeting of June 9, 2021 be approved. -

THAT the minutes of the Special Council meeting of June 10, 2021 be approved. -

THAT Warwick Township Council hereby approves the recommendation from the Drainage Superintendent to proceed with improvements of the Hagle Drain under Section 78 of the Drainage Act; AND THAT after 30 days notice to the St. Clair Region Conservation Authority, a new report be prepared by Spriet Associates, before the work can proceed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council hereby approves the recommendation from the Drainage Superintendent to proceed with improvements of the Eastman-Van Aert Drain under Section 78 of the Drainage Act; AND THAT after 30 days notice to the St. Clair Region Conservation Authority, a new report be prepared by Spriet Associates, before the work can proceed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council moves into an In Camera meeting of Council pursuant to Section 239 of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended, for the following reasons: ii) A matter regarding personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees - Section 239(2)(b); iii) A matter regarding proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board - Section 239(2)(c); vi) Advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose - Section 239(2)(f); -

THAT Warwick Township Council reconvenes in open session. -

THAT the minutes from the in camera regular Council meeting of May 31, 2021 and the Development Committee meeting of June 7, 2021 be approved. -

THAT By-law 67 of 2021 be read a first and second time. -

THAT By-law 67 of 2021 be read a third time and finally passed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council hereby adjourns. -
