Regular Council

THAT the Council minutes from the May 3, 2021 regular meeting be approved. -

THAT the GL report presented on May 31, 2021 be received and filed. -

THAT report CAO-17-21 - Current Municipal Service Levels and COVID-19 Impacts be received and filed as information. -

THAT report CL-16-21 – Proposed Newsletter Content be received and filed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves report P&R-24-21 – East Lambton Community Complex - Capital Fundraising Campaign Report as presented. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves report P&R-25-21 the East Lambton Community Complex Construction Progress Report as presented. -

THAT report PW-09-21 – Public Works Update report be received and filed as information. -

THAT the Roder Drain Culvert be replaced under Birnam Line in 2021; AND THAT funding from the Gas Tax be used to fund the project. -

THAT Warwick Township Council directs the Public Works Manager to lower the speed limit in all Warwick Township school zones to 40km/hr; AND THAT Warwick Township Council gives direction to further investigation to parking in Watford. -

THAT the minutes of the Parks & Recreation Committee meeting of April 28, 2021 be approved. -

THAT Warwick Township Council hereby approves the recommendation from the Drainage Superintendent to proceed with improvements of the McKay Drain under Section 78 of the Drainage Act; AND THAT after 30 days notice to the St. Clair Region Conservation Authority, a new report be prepared by Spriet Associates, before the work can proceed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council moves into an In Camera meeting of Council pursuant to Section 239 of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended, for the following reasons: ii) A matter regarding personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees - Section 239(2)(b); iii) A matter regarding proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board - Section 239(2)(c); vi) Advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose - Section 239(2)(f); -

THAT Warwick Township Council reconvenes in open session. -

THAT the minutes from the in camera regular Council meeting of May 3, 2021 be approved. -

THAT By-laws 63 and 65 of 2021 be read a first and second time. -

THAT By-laws 63 and 65 of 2021 be read a third time and finally passed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council hereby adjourns. -
