Regular Council

THAT the Council minutes from the July 6, 2020 regular meeting be approved. -

THAT a Special Township of Warwick Council meeting be scheduled at the Warwick Community Centre on Monday, September 14, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. for the Official Plan - Vision and Public Engagement. -

THAT the GL report presented on July 27, 2020 be received and filed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council supports and endorses the resolution from the Town of Petrolia regarding the St. Clair Region Conservation Authority Drain Enclosure Policy. -

THAT correspondence 07-17 to 07-18 and 07-20 to 07-41 be received and filed. -

THAT correspondence 07-42 to 07-45 be received and filed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves the quote as supplied by Spriet Associates for $33,900 plus HST to complete the Sanitary Sewer Master Plan; AND THAT Warwick Township Council approved the quote as supplied by CC Dance for $64,000 plus HST to complete the sanitary sewer flushing and video inspection. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves the expenditure of 50% of the cost to complete the study and application process for the FCM Green Municipal Fund (GMF) Feasibility Study for Warwick Township New Community Centre and Watford Community Arena Renovations at an estimated cost of $9,250.00 plus HST -

THAT the installation of an exhaust hood, fire suppression system, custom counter and stainless steel backsplash at the Watford Ball Park Concession for a cost of $17,555 plus HST be

THAT Warwick Council awards Culvert 26 Replacement to Cassidy Construction London Ltd. as recommended by Spriet Associates for $125,319.00 plus HST. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves the sole sourcing of Watford and Warwick Ball Park protective ball diamond netting to Royal Fence at a cost of $51,000.00 plus taxes. -

THAT report CAO-17-20 - Current Municipal Service Levels and COVID-19 Impacts be received and filed as information. -

THAT Warwick Township Council directs the Public Works Manager/Drainage Superintendent to investigate municipal drains and storm water servicing currently available at 335 Wall Street and report back to Council with information; AND THAT the Development Advisory Committee meet with the property owner of 335 Wall Street to discuss the potential for a phased in approach to development and/or a site plan that includes set performance guarantees for the municipality. -

THAT Warwick Township Council declares surplus the 1997 International 4900 Pumper of the Warwick Fire Station and the 1994 GMC Superior Pumper of the Watford Fire Station; AND THAT Warwick Township Council directs staff to pursue the method of an equipment auction to sell these surplused vehicles. -

THAT the minutes of the Parks and Recreation Committee meeting of July 15, 2020 be approved. -

THAT Warwick Township Council moves to an In Camera meeting of Council pursuant to Section 239 of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended, for the following reasons: ii) A matter regarding personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees - Section 239(2)(b); vi) Advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose - Section 239(2)(f); -

THAT Warwick Township Council reconvenes in Open Session. -

THAT the minutes from the in camera regular Council meeting of July 6, 2020 be approved. -

THAT By-law 42 of 2020 be read a first and second time. -

THAT By-law 42 of 2020 be read a third time and finally passed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council hereby adjourns. -
