Regular Council

THAT the Council minutes from the June 22, 2020 regular meeting be approved. -

THAT a Special Township of Warwick Council meeting be scheduled for Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. for presentation of the updated Service Delivery Review. -

THAT the GL report presented on July 6, 2020 be received and filed. -

THAT correspondence 07-01 to 07-15 be received and filed. -

THAT correspondence 07-16 be received and filed. -

THAT report FIRE-03-20 Bi-Annual Report from Township of Warwick Fire & Rescue be reviewed and filed for information. -

THAT report CAO-16-20 - Current Municipal Service Levels and COVID-19 Impacts be received and filed as information. -

THAT Warwick Township Council requests that Lambton Shores Council reconsider the current financial model applied to the Warwick and Lambton Shores Fire Agreement to cover the ‘Arkona Fire Area’; AND THAT a new agreement for service between Warwick Township and Lambton Shores based on the principles of an automatic aid agreement; -

THAT Warwick Township Council endorses the preferred approach for wastewater service delivery beyond 2020 to negotiate a new service agreement with the Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA) as proposed by Township of Warwick’s staff; AND THAT staff be directed to bring back a report prior to the end of 2020 to outline a proposed updated contract with OCWA for Council consideration. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves report HR-08-20 – Municipal Comparator Selection - Pay Standards Study; AND THAT the CAO/Clerk to continue work on the Pay Standards Study using the municipal comparators outlined. -

THAT the minutes of the Public Works Committee meeting of June 24, 2020 be approved. -

THAT Warwick Township Council moves to an In Camera meeting of Council pursuant to Section 239 of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended, for the following reasons: ii) A matter regarding personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees - Section 239(2)(b); vi) Advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege , including communications necessary for that purpose - Section 239(2)(f); xi) A position, plan, procedure, criteria or instruction to be applied to any negotiations

THAT Warwick Township Council reconvenes in Open Session. -

THAT the minutes from the in camera regular Council meeting of June 22, 2020 be approved . -

THAT By-law 41 of 2020 be read a first and second time. -

THAT By-law 41 of 2020 be read a third time and finally passed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council hereby adjourns. -
