Regular Council

THAT the Council minutes from the May 11, 2020 regular meeting be approved. -

THAT the GL report presented on June 1, 2020 be received and filed. -

THAT correspondence 06-01 to 06-35 be received and filed. -

THAT correspondence 06-36 be received and filed. -

THAT report CAO-14-20 - Current Municipal Service Levels and COVID-19 Impacts be received and filed as information. -

THAT report HR-07-20 – Human Resources Policy Review be received and filed as information; AND THAT the updates to the Human Resources Policies be approved and added to the Corporate Policy Manual. -

THAT Township of Warwick Council awards W20-05 Development Charges and Community Benefit Charges Study to Watson & Associates for $50,000 (plus HST). -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves a Temporary Use Agreement for the installation of a second dwelling at 6190 George Street in Warwick; AND THAT the Planner be directed to complete the process necessary for the agreement. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves the continued closure of the BMX Park and Pump Track for the 2020 summer season; AND THAT the BMX Park and Pump Track and allocated space be evaluated in the development of the Parks, Recreation, Tourism and Culture Master Plan for Council’s consideration on next steps for the amenity. -

THAT Warwick Council defers the replacement of the 2006 Volvo Tandem Plow Truck to 2021 budget; AND THAT Warwick Council approved the recommendation to purchase a new 2020 backhoe. -

THAT the minutes of the Public Works Committee meeting of May 13, 2020 be approved. -

THAT Warwick Township Council moves to an In Camera meeting of Council pursuant to Section 239 of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended, for the following reasons: ii) A matter regarding personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees - Section 239(2)(b); iii) A matter regarding proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board - Section 239(2)(c); -

THAT Warwick Township Council reconvenes in Open Session. -

THAT the minutes from the in camera regular Council meeting of May 11, 2020 be approved. -

THAT By-laws 27 and 34 to 38 of 2020 be read a first and second time. -

THAT By-laws 27 and 34 to 38 of 2020 be read a third time and finally passed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council hereby adjourns. -
