Regular Council

THAT the Council minutes from the March 9, 2020 regular meeting be approved. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves the use of Centennial Hall at no cost for the proposed continued delivery of the breakfast program provided approval is received from Lambton Public Health, the Province of Ontario and the Township's insurance provider; AND THAT any use of the building will follow all requirements and protocols set out by the Township. -

THAT correspondence 04-17 to 04-75 be received and filed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council supports and endorses the letter from Norfolk County for issues regarding the mapping of Provincially significant wetlands. -

THAT correspondence 04-76 and 04-79 to 04-80 be received and filed. -

THAT report CAO-11-20 - Current Municipal Service Levels and COVID-19 Impacts be received and filed as information. -

THAT Report CAO-12-20 - CAO's Quarterly Status Report be received and filed as information. -

THAT report CL-03-20 – Council-Staff Relations Policy be received and filed; AND THAT policy 06.18 – Council-Staff Relations Policy be approved and added to the Corporate Policy Manual. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves report HR-06-20 – Proposal for Pay Standards Study and the Proposal from Annetts and Associates at a cost of $8,640. -

THAT Warwick Township Council hereby approves the recommendation from the Drainage Superintendent to proceed with improvements to the Jariott Street SWMP and downstream flow path under section 4 of the Drainage Act; AND THAT after 30 days notice to the St. Clair Region Conservation Authority, a new report be prepared by Spriet Associates, before the work can proceed. -

THAT the minutes of the Special Council meeting of April 2, 2020 be approved. -

THAT Warwick Township Council moves to an In Camera meeting of Council pursuant to Section 239 of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended, for the following reasons: ii) A matter regarding personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees - Section 239(2)(b); iv) A matter regarding labour relations or employee negotiations - Section 239(2)(d); v) A matter concerning litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the municipality or local board - Section 239(2)(e); vi) Advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose - Section 239(2)(f); -

THAT Warwick Township Council reconvenes in Open Session. -

THAT the minutes from the in camera regular Council meeting of March 9, 2020 be approved. -

THAT By-laws 30 and 31 of 2020 be read a first and second time. -

THAT By-laws 30 and 31 of 2020 be read a third time and finally passed. -
