Regular Council

THAT the Council minutes from the January 13, 2020 regular meeting be approved. -

THAT the regular Public Works Committee meeting scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 be changed to a Special Council meeting. -

THAT the 2020 Township of Warwick Town Hall meeting be tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, September 30, 2020. -

THAT Warwick Township Council proceed into the Court of Revision for the McChesney Drain, By-law No.112 of 2019. -

THAT the Court of Revision for the McChesney Drain By-law No. 112 of 2019 be closed without changes to the report and that we go back into open council. -

THAT Zoning By-law Amendment 14 of 2020, that rezones a portion of the lands described as WARWICK CON 4 SER PT LOT 19;RP 25R8827 PT PART 2 from Industrial (M1) Zone with a Holding Provision (h1) and Agricultural 1 (A1) to a new Industrial1(2) M1(2) Zone, be approved. -

THAT correspondence 02-01 to 02-27 be received and filed. -

THAT correspondence 02-28 to 02-29 be received and filed. -

THAT the Overtime Report for January 2020 be received and filed. -

THAT report number P&D-02-20 regarding the Official Plan Review Timeline be received for information; AND THAT Council's input regarding the schedule and public consultation program be incorporated into the Request for Proposals. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves the quote as supplied by Courtney Roofing Inc. at $17,319.00 + HST to replace the entire roof on Centennial Hall. -

THAT the CAO/Clerk be directed to work with legal to register the completed survey of Chalk Line on title; AND THAT the Chalk Line Ownership Project be removed the carryover capital project listing and staff work plan; AND THAT the reserve funds for the Chalk Line Ownership Project of $20,000 be reallocated to unencumbered reserves for use for future capital projects, as approved by Council. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves the quote as supplied by Jennison Construction Ltd. at $15.20 Per Tonne to supply and deliver a minimum of 22,000 tonnes of maintenance gravel to The Township of Warwick unpaved roads. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves the quote as supplied by Pollard Highway Products at $0.0725 Per Litre to supply and application of 735,000 litres of 18% liquid Calcium to The Township of Warwick unpaved roads. -

THAT the minutes of the Development Committee meeting of January 13, 2020 be approved. -

THAT the minutes of the Special Council meeting of January 22, 2020 be approved. -

THAT the minutes of the Special Council meeting of January 28, 2020 be approved. -

THAT the minutes of the Parks & Recreation Committee meeting of January 29, 2020 be approved. -

THAT the minutes of the Special Council meeting of January 30, 2020 be approved. -

THAT Warwick Township Council appoint Spriet Associates under Section 76 of the Drainage Act to prepare a new schedule report. -

THAT Warwick Township Council hereby approves the recommendation from the Drainage Superintendent to proceed with improvements of the Eastman-Meadows Drain under Section 78 of the Drainage Act; AND THAT after 30 days notice to the St. Clair Region Conservation Authority, a new report be prepared by Spriet Associates, before the work can proceed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves the 2020 Municipal Insurance Program with Frank Cowan Limited at an annual cost of $227,483. -

THAT Warwick Township Council move into an In Camera meeting of Council pursuant to Section 239 of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended, for the following reasons: ii) A matter regarding personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees - Section 239(2)(b); iii) A matter regarding proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board - Section 239(2)(c); iv) A matter regarding labour relations or employee negotiations - Section 239(2)(d); -

THAT Warwick Township Council reconvenes in Open Session. -

THAT the minutes from the in camera regular Council meeting of January 13, 2020, the Development Committee meeting of January 13, 2020 and the Special Council meetings of January 28, 2020 and January 30, 2020 be approved. -

THAT By-laws 7 of 2020 and 10 to 15 of 2020 be read a first and second time. -

THAT By-laws 112 of 2019, 7 of 2020 and 10 to 15 of 2020 be read a third time and finally passed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council hereby adjourns. -
