Regular Council

THAT the Council minutes from the October 28, 2019 regular meeting be approved. -

THAT a Special Township of Warwick Council meeting be scheduled for Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 3:30 p.m. for presentation of the Service Delivery Review. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves the installation of Memorial Banners on light standards on Nauvoo Road; AND THAT Township staff will work with members of the Royal Canadian Legion - Branch 172 to coordinate the annual installation and removal of banners. -

THAT the Accounts Payable in the amount of $883,553.12 be accepted for payment as presented. -

THAT the GL report presented on November 18, 2019 be received and filed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council supports and endorses the resolution received from the Township of Stirling-Rawdon dated November 5, 2019 regarding Municipal Liability and Insurance Costs. -

THAT Warwick Township Council hereby approves a donation of $300.00 + HST to provide horse and carriage rides for the Moonlight Madness event in Watford for 2019. -

THAT correspondence 11-01 to 11-17 and 11-19 be received and filed. -

THAT the Overtime Report for October 2019 be received and filed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves Option 2 for the exterior design of the new Community Hall in Watford. -

THAT Warwick Township Council adopts the 2020 Council and Committee Meeting Calendar, as presented in report CL-23-19 – Proposed 2020 Calendar of Meetings. -

THAT the Accounts Payable Listing on the regular Council agenda be removed; AND THAT the Procedural By-law be updated to reflect the agenda item change. -

THAT report FIRE-03-19 - Amending the Open Air Burning By-law to include Bio-Solids be approved; AND THAT By-law 109 of 2019 be approved. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves the implementation of a 37.5 hour work week for administrative staff beginning in the first pay period of 2020. -

THAT Warwick Township Council direct staff to explore potential partnership opportunities between Watford Investment Group, the North Lambton Community Health Centre, Watford Community Improvements Inc. and the Township of Warwick to ensure medical servcies remain in the municipality. -

THAT report PW-23-19 - Public Works Update November 18, 2019 be received and filed for information. -

THAT the minutes of the Parks & Recreation Committee meeting of October 22, 2019 be approved. -

THAT the minutes of the Development Committee meeting of October 28, 2019 be approved. -

THAT the minutes of the Special Council meeting of November 12, 2019 be approved. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves the delegation requests for Rural Ontario Municipalities Association (ROMA) Conference in 2020. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves a four year agreement with Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Ontario as represented by the Solicitor General for the provision of municipal police services by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP). -

THAT Warwick Township Council moves into an In Camera meeting of Council pursuant to Section 239 of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended, for the following reasons: ii) A matter regarding personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees - Section 239(2)(b); iii) A matter regarding proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board - Section 239(2)(c); iv) A matter regarding labour relations or employee negotiations - Section 239(2)(d); vi) Advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose - Section 239(2)(f); -

THAT Warwick Township Council reconvenes in Open Session. -

THAT the minutes from the in camera regular Council meeting of October 28, 2019, the Development Committee meeting of October 28, 2019 and the Special Council meeting of November 12, 2019 be approved. -

THAT By-laws 107 to 110 of 2019 be read a first and second time. -

THAT By-laws 107 to 110 of 2019 be read a third time and finally passed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council hereby adjourns. -
