Regular Council

THAT the Council minutes from the July 29, 2019 regular meeting be approved. -

THAT a Special Township of Warwick Council meeting be scheduled for Thursday, September 5, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves the 2018 Consolidated Financial Statements as presented. -

THAT the Accounts Payable in the amount of $1,491,289.99 be accepted for payment as presented and the GL report presented on August 26, 2019 be received and filed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council supports and endorses the resolutions received from the Corporation of the Township of McKellar dated July 16, 2019; the Township of Mulmur dated August 8, 2019 and the Corporation of the Township of Papineau-Cameron dated August 15, 2019 regarding Municipal Amalgamation. -

THAT correspondence 08-02 to 08-16 be received and filed. -

THAT correspondence 08-19 to 08-20 be received and filed. -

THAT the Overtime Report for July 2019 be received and filed. -

THAT report CAO-21-19 – Service Delivery Review Update be received and filed for information. -

THAT Warwick Township Council agrees to enter into a Management Agreement with the YMCA of Southwestern Ontario for a fitness facility at the new Community Hall in Watford. -

THAT report CL-17-19 – Support for Warwick Township Resolution Regarding Enforcement for Safety on Family Farms be received and filed. -

THAT report CL-18-19 - Update on Research on Program to Address Stray Cats in Watford be received and filed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves the Fire Radio Service Contract as presented. -

THAT Warwick Council delays awarding tender for Culverts 28 & 41 until early 2020 in order to obtain competitive pricing; AND THAT Warwick Council approves reallocating funds to support pre-engineering for 2020 OSIM Bridge and Culvert recommended improvements. -

THAT the minutes of the regular Development Committee meeting of July 29, 2019 be approved. -

THAT the minutes of the regular Parks & Recreation Committee meeting of July 30, 2019 be approved. -

THAT the minutes of the Special Council meeting of August 8, 2019 be approved. -

THAT the minutes of the regular Warwick Township Cemetery Board meeting of August 8, 2019 be approved. -

THAT Warwick Township Council moves into an In Camera meeting of Council pursuant to Section 239 of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended, for the following reasons: ii) A matter regarding personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees - Section 239(2)(b); iii) A matter regarding proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board - Section 239(2)(c); iv) A matter regarding labour relations or employee negotiations - Section 239(2)(d); vi) Advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose - Section 239(2)(f); -

THAT Warwick Township Council reconvenes in Open Session. -

THAT the minutes from the in camera regular Council meeting of July 29, 2019, the regular Development Committee meeting of July 29, 2019 and the Special Council meeting of August 8, 2019 be approved. -

THAT By-laws 93 to 95 of 2019 be read a first and second time. -

THAT By-laws 93 to 95 of 2019 be read a third time and finally passed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council hereby adjourns. -
