Regular Council

THAT the Council minutes from the June 17, 2019 regular meeting be approved. -

THAT a Special Council meeting be set for July 23, 2019 at 3:30 p.m. for presentation of the 2018 Technical Review Team (TRT) report on Twin Creeks Landfill and in camera matters related to solicitor-client privilege; AND THAT public notice of the meeting time and location be completed. -

THAT the Special Council meeting of December 4, 2019 for presentation of the 2020 budget be cancelled. -

THAT the Accounts Payable in the amount of $1,468,203.60 be accepted for payment as presented and the GL report presented on July 8, 2019 be received and filed. -

THAT correspondence items 07-01 to 07-18 be received and filed for information. -

THAT the Overtime Report for June 2019 be received and filed for information . -

THAT Warwick Township Council adopts the Five Year Energy Conservation and Demand Management Plan as presented in report CAO-18-19; AND THAT a reserve account is setup to provide funding for energy related projects and contributed $15,000 per year through the annual budgeting cycle. -

THAT the Tree Canopy Policy be approved, effective as of March 1, 2019; AND THAT the Tree Canopy Policy be added to the Township of Warwick Corporate Policy Manual. -

THAT report FIRE-01-19 Bi-Annual Report from Township of Warwick Fire & Rescue Department be reviewed and filed for information. -

THAT report PW-14-19 - Public Works Update July 8 - be received and filed for information. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approved the request from the Watford Legion to install three flagpoles on Nauvoo Road, subject to the conditions outlined in report PW-16-19 -

THAT the minutes of the regular Warwick Township Cemetery Board meeting of June 6, 2019 be approved. -

THAT the minutes of the regular Parks & Recreation Committee meeting of June 12, 2019 be approved. -

THAT the minutes of the Special Council meeting of June 13, 2019 be approved. -

THAT the minutes of the regular Development Committee meeting of June 17, 2019 be approved. -

THAT the tender for the Conkey Drain - Branch A be awarded to Van Bree Drainage and Bulldozing for a cost of $59,700.00 plus HST (total cost of $67,461.00). -

THAT the tender for the Curts-Townline Drain be awarded to Van Bree Drainage and Bulldozing for a cost of $130,850.00 plus HST (total cost of $147,860.50). -

THAT the report received from Spriet Associates regarding Miner Drain Improvements be received and filed; AND THAT notification be sent to the landowner and SCRCA. -

THAT the in camera minutes from the Special Council meeting of June 13, 2019, the regular Council meeting of June 17, 2019 and the regular Development Committee meeting of June 17, 2019 be approved. -

THAT the Township of Warwick approves the Letter of Intent between The Township of Warwick Economic Development Corporation and the Watford developer, and authorizes the Development Corporation to negotiate the remaining terms of the financing agreement without further input from Council, provided that the maximum amount of the loan may not be increased and the security required shall not be reduced. -

THAT the Township of Warwick will provide assistance to the Township of Warwick Economic Development Corporation to ensure it meets its obligations under the Letter of Intent and the financing agreement contemplated therein, and any funds transferred to the Economic Development Corporation for this purpose shall be considered a loan payable on demand. -

THAT By-laws 76 to 85 of 2019 be read a first and second time. -

THAT By-laws 76 to 85 of 2019 be read a third time and finally passed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council hereby adjourns. -

THAT Warwick Township Council reconvenes in Open Session. -
