Regular Council

THAT the Council minutes from the February 11, 2019 regular meeting be approved. -

THA T a Special Township of Warwick Council meeting be scheduled for Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. prior to the regular Public Works Committee meeting. -

THAT Warwick Township Council proceed into the Court of Revision for the Feddema Drain, By-law No. 8 of 2019. -

THAT the Court of Revision for the Feddema Drain, By-law No. 8 of 2019, be closed without changes to the report and that we go back into open council. -

THAT Warwick Township Council proceed into the Court of Revision for the Zavitz Drain, By-law No. 9 of 2019. -

THAT the Court of Revision for the Zavitz Drain, By-law No. 9 of 2019, be closed without changes to the report and that we go back into open council. -

THAT the GL report presented on March 4, 2019 be received and filed.; AND THAT the Accounts Payable in the amount of $256,582.23 be accepted for payment as presented. -

THAT correspondence items 03-01 to 03-16 be received and filed. -

THAT the Overtime Report for February 2019 be received and filed. -

THAT the Council of the Township of Warwick approve report CAO-05-19 – Code of Conduct for Council and Local Boards; AND THAT the Code of Conduct for Council and Local Boards be approved; AND THAT the Code of Conduct be reviewed with the Township’s Integrity Commissioner in 2019. -

THAT the Council of the Township of Warwick award the Request for Proposals for Consulting Services for a Strategic Plan to Whitesell and Company at a cost of $18,450 plus HST; AND THAT the Mayor and Administrator/Clerk be authorized to execute the agreement with the contractor. -

THAT the Council of the Township of Warwick approve the renewal of the fire inspector contract with Steve Guay for a three (3) year term; AND THAT by-law 21 of 2019 be approved. -

THAT the Council of the Township of Warwick accepts the Warwick Township Community Improvement Plan Annual Report 2018 for information purposes. -

THAT Warwick Township Council direct staff to proceed with scheduling an Open House regarding potential changes to the Township's Official Plan regarding surplus severance rules and regulations. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves the quote as supplied by Podolinsky Farm Equipment at $30,950.00 plus HST to supply and deliver one 2019 John Deere Loader Tractor with Ball Diamond Groomer. -

THAT the minutes of the regular Public Works Committee meeting of February 20, 2019 be approved. -

THAT Warwick Township Council hereby approves the recommendation from the Drainage Superintendent to proceed with improvements of the Moffatt Drain under Section 4 of the Drainage Act; AND THAT after 30 days notice to the St. Clair Region Conservation Authority, a new report be prepared by Spriet Associates, before the work can proceed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council move into an In Camera meeting of Council pursuant to Section 239 of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended, for the following reasons: ii) A matter regarding personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees - Section 239(2)(b); iii) A matter regarding proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board - Section 239(2)(c); v) A matter concerning litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the municipality or local board - Section 239(2)(e); vi) Advise that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose - Section 239(2)(f). -

THAT Warwick Township Council reconvene in Open Session -

THAT the In Camera minutes from the regular Council meeting of February 11, 2019 be approved. -

THAT By-laws 14 and 19 to 24 of 2019 be read a first and second time. -

THAT By-laws 8, 9, 14 and 19 of 2019 and 21 to 24 of 2019 be read a third time and finally passed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council hereby adjourns. -
