Regular Council

THAT the Council minutes from the October 1, 2018 regular meeting be approved. -

THAT the Accounts Payable in the amount of $693,423.21 be accepted for payment as presented and the GL Report presented on November 5, 2018 be received and filed. -

THAT Warwick Township be a Platinum sponsor, in the amount of $1,000, for the 62nd Annual Watford-Alvinston Road Race. -

THAT Warwick Township Council supports and endorses the Township of Montague's Resolution No. 192-2018 Regarding the AMCTO Response to Announcement of The Better Local Government Act, which was passed on September 4, 2018. -

THAT correspondence 11-01 to 11-19 be received and filed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves an exemption from Warwick Township’s Fence By-law 92 of 2016 to allow 199 John Street, Watford to erect a fence in the “rear yard” and "exterior yard" of the property of up to 6 feet 5 inches; AND THAT the existing fence is removed from publicly owned lands by the end of November 30, 2018. -

THAT Report CL-23-18 – Pregnancy and Parental Leave Policy for Council Members be received and filed; AND THAT the Pregnancy and Parental Leave Policy for Council Members be approved and included in the Township of Warwick’s Corporate Policy Manual. -

THAT Report CL-26-18 – Updates to Sale and Disposition of Land Policy be received and filed; AND THAT By-law 94 of 2018 be approved. -

THAT Report CL-24-18 – Regulation of Traffic and Parking By-law Consolidation be received and filed; AND THAT By-law 93 of 2018 be approved. -

THAT Report CL-25-18 - Bill 36 and the Cannabis Statute Law Amendment Act, 2018 be received and filed. -

THAT Report CL-27-18 - Municipal Election Information be received and filed. -

THAT Report PW-30-18 - Scenic Court Drainage Concerns be received and filed. -

THAT Report CAO-18-18 - CAO's Quarterly Status Report be received and filed. -

THAT the minutes of the regular Development Committee meeting of October 1, 2018 be approved. -

THAT the minutes of the regular Revitalization Corporation meeting of October 1, 2018 be approved. -

THAT the minutes of the regular Land Development Corporation meeting of October 1, 2018 be approved. -

THAT the minutes of the regular Parks & Recreation Committee meeting of October 10, 2018 be approved. -

THAT the minutes of the regular Development Committee meeting of October 11, 2018 be approved. -

THAT the tender for the Cambell-Cable Drain 2017 be awarded to Van Bree Drainage & Bulldozing for a cost of $46,753.00 plus HST (total cost of $52,830.89). -

THAT the tender for the Jansen Drain 2018 be awarded to Van Bree Drainage & Bulldozing for a cost of $67,647.00 plus HST (total cost of $76,441.11). -

THAT the tender for the Vandenheuvel Drain - Branch C 2018 be awarded to Van Bree Drainage & Bulldozing for a cost of $20,050.00 plus HST (total cost of $22,656.50). -

THAT Warwick Township Council move into an In Camera meeting of Council pursuant to Section 239 of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended, for the following reasons: iii) A matter regarding proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board - Section 239(2)(c); iv) A matter regarding labour relations or employee negotiations - Section 239(2)(d); vi) Advise that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose - Section 239 (2)(f). -

THAT Warwick Township Council reconvene in Open Session -

THAT the In Camera minutes from the regular Council meeting of October 1, 2018 and the regular Development Committee meetings of October 1, 2018 and October 11, 2018 be approved. -

THAT By-laws 91 to 96 of 2018 be read a first and second time. -

THAT By-laws 91 to 96 of 2018 be read a third time and finally passed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council hereby adjourns. -
