Regular Council

THAT the Council minutes from the March 19, 2018 regular meeting be approved. -

THAT the Accounts Payable in the amount of $1,168,688.69 be accepted for payment as presented and the GL Report presented on April 9, 2018 be received and filed. -

THAT Warwick Township be a Platinum sponsor, in the amount of $1,000, for the 61st Annual Watford-Alvinston Road Race. -

THAT Warwick Township Council grants permission for volunteers to conduct the Multiple Sclerosis Society 2018 Carnation Campaign on May 11 & 12 (location to be determined). -

THAT correspondence 04-01 to 04-14 and 04-17 be received and filed. -

THAT report CL-12-18 - 2018 Municipal Election Update report be received for information. -

THAT Township of Warwick Council approves the Request for Proposal for the Watford Arena Booth Concession and directs staff to publish the RFP. -

THAT report CL-14-18 - Updates to the Election Sign By-law report be received for information. -

THAT Report CAO-08-18 - CAO's Quarterly Status Report be received and filed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council awards the Warwick Road Reconstruction 2018 Tender to SevCon Paving as recommended by Spriet Associates for $199,667 Plus HST. -

THAT the Township of Warwick Office Renovations Project be awarded to Cran Construction, including all options at a total cost of $34,364.54 plus HST. -

THAT the Terms of Reference for the Operational Review of Public Works and Parks and Recreation Departments be approved. -

THAT the Use of Corporate Resources for Election Purposes Policy be approved and included in the Township of Warwick’s Corporate Policy Manual. -

THAT the minutes of the regular Development Committee meeting of March 5, 2018 be approved. -

THAT the minutes of the regular Development Committee meeting of March 19, 2018 be approved. -

THAT the minutes of the regular Parks and Recreation Committee meeting of March 20, 2018 be approved. -

THAT the minutes of the Warwick Township Cemetery Board meeting of March 22, 2018 be approved. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves the Noise By-law Exemption Application for the Mike Harvey Memorial Baseball Tournament on July 21-22, 2018. -

THAT Warwick Township Council hereby approves the recommendation from the Drainage Superintendent to proceed with improvements of Aarts Drain No. 2 under Section 4 of the Drainage Act; AND THAT after 30 days notice to the St. Clair Region Conservation Authority, a new report be prepared by Mike DeVos of Spriet Associates, before the work can proceed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council move into an In Camera meeting of Council pursuant to Section 239 of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended, for the following reasons: ii) A matter regarding personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees - Section 239(2)(b); iii) A matter regarding proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board - Section 239(2)(c); v) A matter concerning litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the municipality or local board - Section 239(2)(e). -

THAT Warwick Township Council reconvene in Open Session -

THAT the In Camera minutes from the regular Council meeting of March 19, 2018 and the regular Development Committee meeting of March 19, 2018 be approved. -

THAT By-laws 10, 22 and 31 to 44 of 2018 be read a first and second time. -

THAT By-laws 45 and 101 of 2016 and 10, 22 and 31 to 44 of 2018 be read a third time and finally passed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council hereby adjourns. -
