Regular Council

THAT the Council minutes from the May 15, 2017 regular meeting be approved. -

THAT the Accounts Payable in the amount of $286,386.29 be accepted for payment as presented and the GL Report presented on June 5, 2017 be received and filed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council grant permission to Libro Credit Union to hold a Charity BBQ on Friday, June 23, 2017; AND THAT Warwick Township Council grant permission to Libro Credit Union to block off 2 parking spots directly in front of the Watford branch on June 23, 2017. -

THAT correspondence 06-01 to 06-24 be received and filed as information. -

THAT Report CL-11-17, dated June 5, 2017, be received and filed; AND THAT the Records Management Policy, in Attachment A of Clerk Department report CL-11-17 be approved. -

THAT Warwick Township Council directs the Administrator/Clerk to resend the letter provided to the Municipality of Brooke-Alvinston on the Churchill Line Boundary Agreement outlining the Township of Warwick's interpretation and specific request for direct response from the Municipality of Brooke-Alvinston; AND THAT the letter include reference to construction costs in the amount of $365,787 incurred by the Township of Warwick during the existing contract that were not shared between municipalities but paid solely by the Township of Warwick, including applicable interest fees to current day; AND THAT the letter request once again that the proposed amendment from the Township of Warwick for each municipality to care for the maintenance and construction on their side of the road be implemented in the next iteration of the boundary line agreement in perpetuity. -

THAT report CL-12-17 – Proposed Newsletter Topics be received and filed. -

THAT the minutes of the regular Development Committee meeting of May 15, 2017 be approved. -

THAT the minutes of the Parks and Recreation Committee meeting of May 24, 2017 be approved. -

THAT the minutes of the Human Resources Committee meeting of May 24, 2017 be approved. -

THAT Warwick Township Council move into an In Camera meeting of Council pursuant to Section 239 of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended, for the following reasons: ii) A matter regarding personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees - Section 239(2)(b); iii) A matter regarding proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board - Section 239(2)(c); iv) A matter regarding labour relations or employee negotiations - Section 239(2)(d); -

THAT Warwick Township Council reconvene in Open Session. -

THAT the In Camera minutes from the regular Council meeting of May 15, 2017, the regular Development Committee meeting of May 15, 2017 and the regular Human Resources Committee meeting of May 24, 2017 be approved. -

THAT David Dew be appointed as a member of the Warwick Township Cemetery Board. -

THAT By-laws 60 to 62 of 2017 and 64 to 77 of 2017 be read a first and second time. -

THAT By-laws 60 to 62 of 2017 and 64 to 77 of 2017 be read a third time and finally passed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council hereby adjourns. -
