Regular Council

THAT the Council minutes from the January 16, 2017 regular meeting be approved. -

THAT a Special Council meeting be scheduled for Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 3:00 p.m.-

THAT the Accounts Payable in the amount of $646,237.01 be accepted for payment as presented and the GL report presented on February 6, 2017 be received and filed. -

THAT correspondence 02-01 to 02-23 be received and filed as information. -

THAT the Township of Warwick Council table this item for future discussion at the Special Council meeting on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. -

THAT staff request an alternate program for Warwick Township from Lambton College; AND THAT if an alternate program cannot be found, The Township of Warwick decline participation in the Legacy Tree Project. -

THAT the minutes of the Development Committee meeting of January 16, 2017 be approved. -

THAT the minutes of the Parks & Recreation Committee meeting of January 26, 2017 and the proposed 4% increase for hall rentals, ball diamonds and ball hockey fees be approved. -

THAT the minutes of the Human Resources Committee meeting of January 26, 2017 be approved. -

THAT the minutes of the Special Council meeting of February 2, 2017 be approved. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves the 2017 Municipal Insurance Program with Frank Cowan Limited at an annual cost of $187,710. -

THAT Warwick Township Council move into an In Camera meeting of Council pursuant to Section 239 of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended, for the following reasons: ii) A matter regarding personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees - Section 239(2)(b); iii) A matter regarding proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board - Section 239(2)(c); iv) A matter regarding labour relations or employee negotiations - Section 239(2)(d); vi) Advise that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose - Section 239(2)(f); -

THAT Warwick Township Council reconvene in Open Session. -

THAT the In Camera minutes from the regular Council meeting of January 16, 2017, the Development Committee meeting of January 16, 2017 and the regular Human Resources Committee meeting of January 26, 2017 be approved. -

THAT By-law 9 of 2017 be read a first and second time. -

THAT By-law 9 of 2017 be read a third time and finally passed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council hereby adjourns. -
