Regular Council

THAT the Council minutes from the November 14, 2016 regular meeting be approved. -

THAT the Accounts Payable in the amount of $327,816.01 be accepted for payment as presented and the GL Summary Report be received and filed for information. -

THAT the Council of the Township of Warwick send a letter supporting the letter from the Lucan Biddulph Fire Area and expressing Council concerns regarding the mandatory retirement of firefighter bunker gear after ten years. -

THAT the Council of the Township of Warwick support Bill 9 which states that all stroke victims receive care regardless of their age. -

THAT the Council of the Township of Warwick hereby petition the Provincial Government to recognize the municipal fire service as critical infrastructure by including funding for Fire Department infrastructure as part of the Provincial Government's Infrastructure Strategy to Move Ontario Forward. -

THAT correspondence 12-01 to 12-03, 12-05 to 12-21, 12-23 and 12-25 to 12-26 be received and filed as information. -

THAT report F-15-16 – Tax Arrears be received and filed for information. -

THAT report CL-25-16 - Update on VandenOuweland Farm Land Leases be received and filed for information. -

THAT the minutes of the Development Committee meeting of October 24, 2016 be approved. -

THAT the minutes of the Development Committee meeting of November 14, 2016 be approved. -

THAT the minutes of the Parks and Recreation Committee meeting of November 29, 2016 be approved. -

THAT the minutes of the Development Committee meeting of December 5, 2016. -

THAT the minutes of the Special Council meeting of December 7, 2017 be approved. -

THAT the tender for Goodhand Drain 2016 be awarded to Van Bree Drainage for a cost of $69,775 plus HST (total cost of $78,845.75). -

THAT Warwick Township Council move into an In Camera meeting of Council pursuant to Section 239 of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended, for the following reasons: ii) A matter regarding personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees - Section 239(2)(b); iii) A matter regarding proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board - Section 239(2)(c); -

THAT Warwick Township Council reconvene in Open Session. -

THAT the In Camera minutes from the regular Council meeting of October 31, 2016 and Development Committee meetings of October 24, 2016, November 14, 2016 and December 5, 2016 be approved. -

THAT By-law numbers 112 to 114 of 2016 be read a first and second time. -

THAT By-law numbers 112 to 114 of 2016 be read a third and final time. -

THAT Warwick Township Council hereby adjourns. -
