Regular Council

THAT the Council minutes from the June 27, 2016 regular meeting be approved. -

THAT Warwick Township Council proceed into the Consideration of the Drainage Report for the Leach Drain 2016. -

THAT Warwick Township Council proceed into the Consideration of the Drainage Report for the Vaughan Drain 2016. -

THAT Warwick Township Council return to the regular session. -

THAT the Accounts Payable in the amount of $1,540,110.86 be accepted for payment as presented. -

THAT Warwick Township Council support and endorse the resolution approved on June 27, 2016 by the Township of West Lincoln requesting Mandatory Municipal Consent for Future Renewable Energy Projects. -

THAT Warwick Township Council supports and endorses resolution #2016-35 dated June 6, 2016 of the Township of Dawn- Euphemia on the Provincial Climate Change Action Plan. -

THAT Warwick Township Council supports and endorses the resolution #21 dated June 14, 2016 of the Corporation of the City of Kenora on Rural Economic Development Program (RED) - Suspension. -

THAT correspondence 7-1 to 7-25, 7-28 and 7-30 be received and Page 4 of 9 filed. -

THAT report F-07-16 be received and filed. -

THAT report P&D-09-16 be received and filed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approve the extension of the land lease with Buurma Acres for one year, as per the extension clause in the agreement. -

WHEREAS the maintenance and operational costs of maintaining Centennial Park, including the back ball diamond, are paid in full by the Township of Warwick; AND WHEREAS the agreement executed in 1987 between the Optimist Club of Watford and the former Corporation of the Village of Watford for the maintenance and covering of costs at Centennial Park is considered out of date and has been out of date for many years; NOW THEREFORE the Corporation of the Township of Warwick hereby enacts as follows: THAT Warwick Township Council direct staff to amend the existing 1987 agreement between the Optimist Club of Watford and the Corporation of the Village of Watford to reflect the current reality of all operational costs for Centennial Park, including the back ball diamond, being borne by the Corporation of the Township of Warwick; AND THAT staff be directed to form an agreement with the Lambton Kent District School Board for the lease of the south side of Centennial Park to the school that is executed between only two parties being the Township of Warwick and the LKDSB; AND THAT these agreements be executed by by-law and also repeal former by-law 116 of 2011 on the sub-lease of lands to the LKDSB and the agreement approved on July 23, 1987 between the Optimist Club of Watford and the Corporation of the Village of Watford; AND THAT an annual donation in the amount of the land lease with the Lambton Kent District School Board be provided to the Watford Optimist Club from the Township of W

THAT the minutes of the Human Resources Committee meeting of June 30, 2016 be approved. -

THAT the minutes of the Public Works Committee meeting of July 4, 2016 be approved. -

THAT the Minutes of the Special Council meeting of July 4, 2016 be approved. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approve the resolutions requested by Bluewater Power, as outlined in their letter dated July 19, 2016 re: Warwick Electricity Holdings Incorporated; and direct the Mayor and Administrator/Clerk to sign and execute the resolutions. -

THAT Warwick Township Council move into an In Camera meeting of Council pursuant to Section 239 of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended, for the following reasons: ii) A matter regarding personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees - Section 239(2)(b); iii) A matter regarding proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board - Section 239(2)(c); iv) A matter regarding labour relations or employee negotiations - Section 239(2)(d); -

THAT Warwick Township Council reconvene in Open Session-

THAT By-law numbers 78, 83 and 84 of 2016 be read a first and second time. -

THAT By-law 84 of 2016 be read a third time and finally passed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council hereby adjourns. -
