Regular Council

Seconded J. Rombouts THAT the Council minutes from the June 13, 2016 regular meeting be approved. -

THAT the Accounts Payable in the amount of $115,888.44 be accepted for payment as presented. -

THAT correspondence 6-35 to 6-51 be received and filed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approve report CL-16-16 and direct staff to include the proposed August 2016 Newsletter, as amended, in the final tax bill to property owners. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves the recommendation from the Community Improvement Plan (CIP) Committee for an extension to July 29, 2016 for the completion of work approved under façade application F-01-15 at 5311 Nauvoo Rd. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves the Cornfest Special Events Agreement between the Township of Warwick and the Watford Optimist, Watford Knights of Columbus and the Rotary Club of Watford for the Operation of the 2016 Cornfest; AND THAT permission be granted for a sublet of a portion of the property for the operation of a Midway for the General Public; AND THAT the Mayor and Administrator/Clerk be authorized and instructed on behalf of the Corporation of the Township of Warwick to enter into and execute under its corporate seal the special events agreement and attached Schedule “A” to By-law 80 of 2016; -

THAT direction be given to staff to proceed with getting a survey of the former Tennis Court site on Simcoe Street, Watford. -

THAT the minutes of the regular Development Committee meeting of June 20, 2016 be approved. -

THAT the minutes of the regular Warwick Township Cemetery Board meeting of June 23, 2016 be approved. -

THAT the minutes of the Regular Parks and Recreation Committee meeting with User Groups of June 23, 2016 be approved. -

THAT Warwick Township Council hereby approves the recommendation from the Drainage Superintendent to proceed with improvements at Con 6 NER, W PT Lot 22 PT W 1/2 LOT 22 under Section 4 of the Drainage Act; AND THAT after 30 days notice to the Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority a new report be prepared by Spriet Associates, before the work can proceed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council move into an In Camera meeting of Council pursuant to Section 239 of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended, for the following reasons: ii) A matter regarding personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees - Section 239(2)(b); iii) A matter regarding proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board - Section 239(2)(c); -

THAT Warwick Township Council reconvene in Open Session. -

THAT the In Camera minutes from regular Council meeting of June 13, 2016 and the regular Development Committee meeting of June 20, 2016 be approved. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves the hiring of Alison Tamminga for the Records Project Assistant position for the summer of 2016. -

THAT By-law numbers 79 to 81 of 2016 be read a first and second time. -

THAT By-law numbers 79 to 81 of 2016 be read a third time and finally passed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council hereby adjourns. -
