Regular Council

THAT the Council minutes from the May 30, 2016 regular meeting be approved. -

THAT the Accounts Payable in the amount of $309,708.62 be accepted for payment as presented. -

THAT Warwick Township Council supports and endorses the resolution of Sarnia City Council relating to natural gas, as approved on May 30, 2016. -

THAT Warwick Township Council supports and endorses the resolution of May 18, 2016 re: Lyme Disease as approved by the Township of Hornepayne. -

THAT Warwick Township Council supports and endorses the resolution of May 24, 2016 re: Lyme Disease as approved by Tay Valley Township. -

THAT Correspondence 6-1 to 6-29, 6-31 and 6-34 be received and filed. -

THAT report P&D-05-16 be received and filed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves an exemption from Warwick Township’s Fence By-law 64 of 2011 to allow 536 Simcoe Street, Watford to erect a 20 foot chain link fence in “front yard” of the property of up to 4 feet; AND THAT the setbacks for the “front yard” fence from the road and road allowance be approved by the General Manager of Public Works and Parks and Recreation prior to the beginning of construction; AND THAT approval be granted only subject to successful consultation between the property owner and adjacent neighbours. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves the Warwick Township Office Staff Coverage Plan for Summer 2016, as presented in report CAO-11-16, and related estimated expenditures up to $9,300. -

THAT the minutes of the Special Council meeting on Development of May 30, 2016 be approved. -

THAT the minutes of the Special Council meeting of June 3, 2016 be approved. -

THAT the minutes of the regular Development Committee meeting of June 6, 2016 be approved. -

THAT Warwick Township Council hereby approves the recommendation from the Drainage Superintendent to proceed with improvements to the Hall Drain under Section 78 of the Drainage Act; AND THAT after 30 days notice to the St. Clair Regional Conservation Authority a new report be prepared by Spriet Associates, before the work can proceed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council hereby approves the recommendation from the Drainage Superintendent to proceed with improvements to the Feddema Drain under Section 78 of the Drainage Act; AND THAT after 30 days notice to the St. Clair Regional Conservation Authority a new report be prepared by Spriet Associates, before the work can proceed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council to move into an In Camera meeting of Council pursuant to Section 239 of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended, for the following reasons: ii) A matter regarding personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees - Section 239(2)(b); iii) A matter regarding proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board - Section 239(2)(c); iv) A matter regarding labour relations or employee negotiations - Section 239(2)(d); -

THAT Warwick Township Council reconvene in open session. -

THAT the In Camera minutes from the regular Council meeting of May 30, 2016, the Special Council meeting on Development of May 30, 2016, the Special Council meeting on June 3, 2016 and the regular Development Committee meeting of June 6, 2016 be approved. -

THAT By-law numbers 69 to 77 of 2016 be read a first and second time. -

THAT By-law numbers 69 to 77 of 2016 be read a third time and finally passed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council hereby adjourns. -
