Regular Council

THAT the Council minutes from the April 11, 2016 regular meeting be approved. -

THAT Warwick Township Council direct the Clerk/Deputy Administrator to contact Mr. VandenOuweland to discuss extension of by-law 94 and 95 of 2011 for a one year term and present an updated by-law to Council for approval at a future meeting. -

THAT Warwick Township Council reconfirm and extend the appointment of Spriet Associates to prepare a new report on the Kilmer Drain Culvert. -

THAT Warwick Township Council move into the Consideration Meeting on the Drainage Report for the Kilmer Drain Culvert 2016. -

THAT Warwick Township Council move out of the Consideration meeting and back into regular Council. -

THAT the Accounts Payable in the amount of $112,542.46 be accepted for payment as presented. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves the request from Libro Financial to hold a Charity BBQ on June 10, 2016 on Nauvoo Road; AND THAT Libro Financial contact Greg Storms, General Manager of Public Works and Parks and Recreation, to make arrangements for road blockades and equipment. -

THAT Warwick Township Council supports and endorses resolution #155-16 approved by the Township of North Frontenac on March 18, 2016 on the Independent Electrical System Operator Review of Request for Proposal Process for the Award of Renewable Energy Contracts. -

THAT correspondence 4-24 to 4-39 and 4-42 to 4-44 be received and filed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council direct staff to form a draft policy on donations from the Township of Warwick and report back to Council. -

THAT the minutes from the regular Public Works Committee meeting of April 13, 2016. -

THAT the minutes from the regular Development Committee meeting of April 18, 2016 be approved. -

THAT Warwick Township Council hereby approves the recommendation from the Drainage Superintendent to proceed with improvements to the Hickory Creek Drain under Section 78 of the Drainage Act; AND THAT after 30 days notice to the St. Clair Regional Conservation Authority a new report be prepared by Spriet Associates, before the work can proceed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council hereby approves the recommendation from the Drainage Superintendent to proceed with improvements to the Gilliland Drain under Section 78 of the Drainage Act; AND THAT after 30 days notice to the St. Clair Regional Conservation Authority a new report be prepared by Spriet Associates, before the work can proceed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council move into an In Camera meeting of Council pursuant to Section 239 of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended, for the following reasons: ii) A matter regarding personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees - Section 239(2)(b); iii) A matter regarding proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board - Section 239(2)(c); -

THAT Warwick Township Council reconvene in Open session -

THAT the minutes of the In Camera Development Committee meetings of March 14, April 7 and April 18 of 2016 be approved. -

THAT the In Camera minutes of the regular Council meeting of February 29, 2016 be approved. -

THAT By-law numbers 20 and 42 to 46 of 2016 be read a first and second time. -

THAT By-law numbers 20 and 42 to 44 and 46 of 2016 be read a third time and finally passed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council hereby adjourns. -
