Regular Council

THAT the Council minutes from the February 8, 2016 regular meeting be approved. -

THAT the scheduled regular Council meeting on March 7, 2016 be cancelled and business

THAT the Accounts Payable in the amount of $482,060.27 be accepted for payment as presented. -

THAT Warwick Township Council support and endorse the resolution requesting that Ontario cancel the RFP for added wind power generation passed by the Township of Wainfleet at their meeting held on January 26, 2016. -

THAT Warwick Township Council support and endorse the resolution passed on February 16, 2016 by the Municipality of Bluewater requesting that the Minister of Health and Long Term Care reinstate incentives for physicians to practice in rural areas of Ontario. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves the request to support for annual Multiple Sclerosis Carnation Campaign and provide permission for volunteers to conduct the campaign Warwick Township from May 6 to May 8, 2016, as requested. -

THAT correspondence 2-15 to 2-45, 2-48 to 2-50 and 2-52 to 2-55 be received and filed. -

THAT report CL-08-16 – Update on 2015 Clerk’s Department Projects and Work Plan be received and filed. -

THAT report CL-09-15 - Information on Winter Burial Request at Bethel Cemetery be received and filed. -

THAT Council approves the request from Polack Circus to hold a Circus at the Watford Arena (Field Track) on May 18th or May 19th, 2016; AND THAT Staff enter into a formal agreement with Polack for this event, and that 2 million liability insurance be provided as part of this agreement; AND THAT the rental cost be $410.00 for this event. -

THAT Warwick Township Council direct staff to further investigate the structural integrity of the possible rooftop locations; AND THAT Warwick Township Council approves pursuing either the no money down or the traditional investment financial agreement with Bluewater Power. -

THAT Warwick Township Council move into an In Camera meeting of Council pursuant to Section 239 of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended, for the following reasons: ii) A matter regarding personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees - Section 239(2)(b); -

THAT Warwick Township Council reconvene in Open Session. -

THAT the In Camera minutes from the Regular Council meeting of February 8, 2016 be approved. -

THAT By-law numbers 11 to 13 and 15 of 2016 be read a first and second time. -

THAT By-law numbers 11 to 13 and 15 of 2016 be read a third time and finally passed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council hereby adjourns. -
