Regular Council

THAT the Council minutes from the January 25, 2016 regular meeting be approved. -

THAT the Accounts Payable in the amount of $248,417.20 be accepted for payment as presented. -

THAT a Premium Listing at a cost of $150 plus HST be purchased on the Bluewater Visitor Guide internet portal. -

THAT Warwick Township Council file a letter supporting Union Gas's proposal to recover costs associated with natural gas service expansion with the Ontario Energy Board's hearing on the issues; AND THAT staff investigate becoming an intervener in the hearing process and obtain such status if there are no costs involved; -

THAT correspondence 2-1 to 2-11 and 2-13 be received and filed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves report CL-06-15 – Proposal to Establish and Implement a Records Management System (RMS) in Warwick; AND THAT the 2016 costs for the project, estimated at $8,000, be

THAT the present agreement with Jody Jasek to clean the Warwick Township Municipal Office be extended for a term of two years with annual renewal based on satisfactory job performance; AND THAT the hourly rate increase from $16.00 per hour to $20.00 per hour; AND THAT the contract for cleaning services at the Warwick Township Municipal Office by-law 9 of 2016 be approved. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves the appointment of Collins Barrow of Sarnia as its’ external financial auditors for 2016; AND THAT the publishing of a Request for Proposal for external auditor services be

THAT Warwick Township Council approves the hiring of the Township Office’s former 2015/2016 co-op student to complete the records inventory project at the Township Office on a part time basis; AND THAT the student be paid $11.25 per hour in accordance with Ontario’s minimum wage; AND THAT costs for the student do not exceed $2,050 to complete the work. -

THAT report DRAIN-02-16 be received and filed; AND THAT the costs associated with the proposed Drainage Map Update of $10,000 be

THAT report FIRE-03-16 on Fire Suppression Installation in Wind Turbines be received and filed. -

THAT staff move forward with submitting an application for funding to the Electric Vehicle Chargers Ontario Program as per the proposal and costs in report PW-04-16. -

THAT the minutes of the Special Council meeting on Fire Services of January 29, 2016 be approved. -

THAT the minutes of the regular Development Committee meeting of February 1, 2016 be approved. -

THAT Warwick Township Council move into an In Camera meeting of Council pursuant to Section 239 of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended, for the following reasons: ii) A matter regarding personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees - Section 239(2)(b); vi) Advise that is subject to solicitor-client privilege , including communications necessary for that purpose - Section 239(2)(f); -

THAT Warwick Township Council reconvene in Open Session. -

THAT the In Camera minutes from the regular Council meeting of January 25, 2016 and the In Camera minutes from the regular Development Committee meeting of February 1, 2016 be approved. -

THAT By-law numbers 8 and 9 of 2016 be read a first and second time. -

THAT By-law numbers 8 and 9 of 2016 be read a third time and finally passed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council hereby adjourns. -
