Regular Council

THAT the Council minutes from the November 16, 2015 regular meeting be approved. -

THAT the Accounts Payable in the amount of $284,349.83 be accepted for payment as presented. -

THAT correspondence 11-33, 11-34 and 11-36 to 11-64 be received and filed. -

WHEREAS many water meters within Warwick Township are in need of replacement; WHEREAS staff has determined that an outside contract is needed for the efficient replacement of out of date/faulty water meters; WHEREAS Council has authorized the amendment of the water meter fee schedule in By-law 58 of 2011 to be in line with the proposed Bluewater Power water meter replacement contract; WHEREAS a contract with Bluewater Power has been prepared to provide for third party replacement and ongoing maintenance of water meters within Warwick Township; NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Warwick hereby directs staff to provide the contract with Bluewater Power for approval by Council by by-law once the required public notice period for the amended fee schedule is complete. -

THAT repot F-8-15 on the 3rd Quarter 2015 Financial Status be received and filed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approve the establishment of a ‘Warwick Township Senior of the Year Award’ program, as per report CL-18-15 dated November 30, 2015. -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves report CL-19-15 and directs the Clerk/Deputy Administrator to prepare the updated Property Standards By-law for passing following the required two week notice period for the fee schedule change; AND THAT the public members of the Committee of Adjustment/Land Division Committee be approached to determine interest in acting as the Property Standards Appeal Committee. -

THAT the minutes of the regular Public Works meeting of November 17, 2015 be approved. -

THAT Warwick Township Council move into an In Camera meeting of Council pursuant to Section 239 of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended, for the following reasons: ii) A matter regarding personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees - Section 239(2)(b); -

THAT the in camera Council minutes of the regular meeting of November 16, 2015 be approved. -

THAT By-law numbers 103 and 104 of 2015 be read a first and second time. -

THAT By-law numbers 103 and 104 of 2015 be read a third time and finally passed. -

THAT Warwick Township Council hereby adjourns. -
