Regular Council

THAT the Council minutes from the December 11, 2013 regular meeting be approved as amended -

THAT Warwick Township Council hereby appoint Councillor Rod Glen to the Waste Management Public Liaison Committee (WPLC) as the Township's alternate for the 2014 term -

THAT the Accounts Payable in the amount of $1,295,448.56 be accepted for payment as presented -

THAT Warwick Township Council approves the use of Centennial Hall, at no charge, for East Lambton Elementary School's annual Christmas dinner and for the grade 8 graduation ceremony in June pending availability; and that the school work with Mike Bryce, Parks and Recreation Manager to schedule and make arrangements for the events. –

THAT Warwick Township Council direct staff to respond to the correspondence received from Pat Goreski to outline Council's position and the steps to be undertaken in the future review of the parking by-law -

THAT correspondence 1-1 to 1-23 and 1-25 be received and filed -

THAT Warwick Township Council receive the report from the Clerk, dated January 7, 2014, and direct staff to proceed as per report and hire short-term casual part time assistance to upload cemetery records into the Stone Orchard software program, for a period of approximately a period of 75 to 85 hours and at a cost not more than $2,000 -

THAT Warwick Township Council direct staff to obtain a legal opinion and/or advice on the draft road user agreement before proceeding with the process any further -

THAT Warwick Township Council approve the Municipal Consultation Form (MCF),

THAT Warwick Township Council approves the regular Development Committee minutes of the December 19, 2013 meeting, a pproves the amended articles for the three corporations, and provides consent to use the name of the municipality 'Township of Warwick' in the name and title of the three corporations. -

THAT the minutes of the Emergency Management Committee meeting of December 11, 2013 be received and filed -

THAT Warwick Township Council move into an In Camera meeting of Council pursuant to Section 239 of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended, for the following reasons: ) A matter regarding personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees - Section 239(2)(b); ii) A matter regarding proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board - Section 239(2)(c); iii) A matter regarding labour relations or employee negotiations - Section 239(2)(d); iv) A matter concerning litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the municipality or local board - Section 239(2)(e); v) Advise that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose - Section 239(2)(f); -

THAT Warwick Township Council reconvene in Open Session -

THAT Warwick Township Council approve the In Camera minutes from the regular Council meeting of December 11, 2013 and the In Camera minutes of the regular Development Committee meeting of December 19, 2013 -

THAT Warwick Township Council refer the property matter outlined in report PW-1-14 to the St. Clair Regional Conservation Authority for approval -

THAT By-law numbers 1 to 5 of 2014 be read a third time and finally passed -

THAT By-law numbers 1 to 5 of 2014 be read a first and second time -

THAT Warwick Township Council hereby adjourn -
