Regular Council

That the Council minutes from the August 1, 2013 regular meeting be approved -

THAT Warwick Township Council appoint Spriets Associates Inc. to make engineered drawings for the Warwick Community Centre Parking lot, accounting for the removal of the existingCommunity Hall and drainage requirements and that a report be provided back to Council -

THAT Warwick Township Council accepts the quote as provided by NorTrax (John Deere) for the purchase of a new Motor Grader at a cost of $300,160.00 (plus taxes); AND THAT an extended (5 year) warranty be purchased for the new Motor Grader at a cost of approximately $7,000 (plus taxes); AND THAT Warwick Township Council approves the sale of the 2000/740 Champion Motor Grader to NorTrax at a cost of $45,000.00; AND THAT the John Deere 772 GP is ordered im mediately; -

THAT War wick Township Council go In Camera, pursuant to Section 239 of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended, for the following reasons: i ) A matter regarding personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees - Section 239(2)(b); ii) A matter regarding proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board - Section 239(2)(c); iii) A matter regarding labour relations or employee negotiations - Section 239(2)(d); iv) Advise that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose - Section 239(2)(f); -

THAT Warwick Township Council reconvene in Open Sess ion and the Chair rise and report -

THAT the In Camera minutes of the regular Council meeting of August 1, 2013 and of the regular Development Committee meeting of August 9, 2013 be approved as presented -

THAT the collective agreement between CUPE Local 2393.3 and its members be ratified, for a term commencing on August 1, 2013 and terminating on July 31, 2017 and further that staff implement the necessary ch anges and report back on process for conducting Joint Job Evaluation as per Letter of Understanding -

THAT Warwick Township Council accept the In Camera report "Next Steps - Organizational Review and Succession Planning", dated September 4, 2013 -

THAT Warwick Township Council extend Don Bruder as Administrator/Treasurer for a one year extension (ending August 31 ,2014 ) -

That the Accounts Payable in the amount of $546,244.44 be accepted for payment as presented -

THAT Warwick Township Council appoint Councillor R. Glen to represent the Township of Warwick to the Municipality of Brooke- Alvinston's Co urt of Revision for the Gilliland Drain -

THAT Warwick Township Council support and endorse the Township of Baldwin's efforts to information the Province of Ontario of the real needs of small municipalities and that staff provide the Township of Baldwin the requested information -

THAT Warwick Township Council supports the concept of the project as outlined and direct staff to work with B. Vermerien to outline more specific deta ils and report back to Council-

THAT correspondence 9-1 to 9-10, 9-13 and 9-14 be received and filed -

THAT the minutes of the Ad Hoc Fire Committee meeting of July 30, 2013 be approved as presented -

THAT the minutes of the Development Commi ttee meeting of August 9, 2013 approved as presented -

THAT the minutes of the Watford Cemetery Board meeting of August 14, 2013 be approved as presented -

THAT Warwick Township accepts Dayton Painting in the amount of $8,125.00 plus HST and further that any hydrant snow markers be replaced (estimated $1,925) as required as well as hydrants raised that would i mpact Fire Service operations subject to budget limitations -

That By-laws numbers 76 to 82 of 2013 be read a first and second time -

THAT By-laws 76 to 82 of 2013 be read a third time and finally passed -

THAT Warwick Township Council hereby adjourns -
