Public Works Committee

THAT the 2016 report on Warwick Township's water distribution schedule 22 annual report be approved. -

THAT staff review crosswalk requirements in compliance with Book 15 of the Highway Traffic Act and report back on applicable estimated costs; AND THAT the evaluation include sightlines and traffic line ups from the Nauvoo bridge as well as peak seasonal traffic considerations. -

THAT the proposal for the 2017 supply and application of 735,L (plus 20%) of calcium chloride for dust control on Warwick Township’s unpaved road system from Pollard, at a cost of $0.0575/L plus HST, be approved; AND THAT the proposal for the 2017 supply of gravel from McKenzie Henderson at $13.45 per tonne plus HST be approved. -

THAT the Public Works Committee recommends to Warwick Township Council to support the ELES Touch a Truck Event, 2017 by providing one (1) Single Axel Truck and One (1) Staff Support Person. -

THAT Public Works Committee recommends to Warwick Township Council the approval of the quotation provided by Stewart Overhead Door Co. Ltd. to supply and install three brown garage doors at the Warwick Garage at a total cost of $11,450 plus HST. -

That the Public Works Committee recommends to Warwick Township Council the approval of the Street/Sidewalk Cleaning Proposal as submitted by LCDS, at a cost of $1,133.62 plus HST; AND THAT the cost for the program is charged to the Transportation Budget (Paved Roads). -

THAT Public Works Committee hereby adjourns. -
