Public Works Committee

THAT Warwick Township Council direct staff to send response to correspondence to J. Wilson advising that claims of this nature are required to go through personal insurance policies. -

THAT report PW-17-16 be received and filed. -

THAT Public Works Committee recommends to Council the reimbursement of $200 to Mr. Louis Gough of 395 Huron Street for the cost of the plumber that removed the blockage in the Sanitary Sewer system. -

THAT the Public Works Committee recommends to Council the quote provided by Courtney Roofing in the amount of 52,990.00 be accepted for the replacement of the Garage and Township Office Roof; AND that the quote provided by Belfor Restoration be accepted in the amount of $39,817.74 for the removal and replacement of the ceiling in the first three bays of the Warwick Garage; AND that the Watford Arena Roof Replacement Budget Allocation of $125,000 be used to finance this work. -

THAT Public Works Committee recommends to council that the report PW-20-16 Railway Crossing Improvements be received and filed; AND THAT the Agreements with CN Railways and the Township of Warwick be executed for both of these crossing improvements by by-law at the next regular Council meeting; AND THAT the financial allocations of $106,921.12 Capital and $8,000 Operational be included in the 2017 Capital and Operational budgets to accommodate these railway crossing improvements. -

THAT Public Works Committee hereby adjourns. -
